My Stab At The Future

With the introduction of XM and Sirius pay-radio, it seems the only logical step forward for the entertainment business is commercial free television. Now seeing as how most people already pay for their TV, making them pay even more money would be like trying to sell ice to an Eskimo, especially if they have Tivo. But the fact is, is that even Tivo is now starting to place ads within their service. Rumors have it that they don't fill the entire screen, but the fact that they are there, when people are already paying a monthly service charge (or have already paid hundreds in advance) for something that they believe will aid in their ad-fight, is absolutely absurd. The entertainment and electronics industry needs to realize when enough is enough and to stop treating us like their money tree, that they can just come and pick whenever they feel the need/want.
